Lesa is an out-of-the-box designer with exacting standards and a unique penchant for the unexpected! Confident in her eye and buying skills, Lesa opened Details in 2001, which quickly became an award winning company with a stellar reputation and clients throughout the United States. She loves the detailed process of design and approaches each project with an infectious blend of energy, professionalism, and humor. Thirty years into her interior design career, she continues evolving her more-is-more style in her own digs, client’s homes and the Details showroom with infusions of bold art, energetic patterns and distinctive silhouettes.

After graduating from college with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business, Richard worked for a Major Systems Integration company in a corporate setting involving engineering, management and corporate sales. After 22 years of corporate business and international travel Richard made the decision to retire and grow the new business with Lesa. With an engineering and business background, and experience working in the family kitchen cabinet business, custom cabinets and design was a natural to add to the new business. When designing new projects for his clients, Richard first makes sure he understands how they will use their spaces and what style preferences they have. He listens attentively to their wishes and concerns and produces a plan that incorporates those details. Richard is adept in all design style, from Traditional to Transitional and Modern. He creates a personal, beautiful and functional space, and turns their dreams into reality.

Jacqueline’s love for interior design stems from growing up in her mother’s showroom and watching her create beautiful spaces for her clients. She went on to graduate from the University of Louisville with a degree in Art History and uses her knowledge of space, color, and texture found in the art world and translates it into her designs to make each project unique. She spent 10 years between Details and two clothing boutiques, Julep and Dressing Room, which she opened with her mother and sister. She moved to Nashville in 2013 with her husband, and there she worked for one of the largest design firms in the country with clients from Los Angeles to New York, including multiple high rise condominium projects. She returned to Louisville to be close to family and continues expressing her passion for design and clients at Details once again.

Having grown up dreaming of being a designer, Kelli sought out and begin working in the field for a well known major furniture company.  She furthered this dream with a degree in Interior Design from Sullivan University and continued building her skills and client base.  Later, working with builders she was able to focus on new construction and freelance design.  This eventually led her to Details Interiors as she explains,

Having grown up in Atlanta, into a family of designers and antique brokers, Reynolds grew up with aspirations of having a design business of some sort one day.  Upon earning her BA from Furman University, she moved to Louisville to intern for an esteemed design firm.  After meeting her husband in Louisville, she pursued a career in the real estate industry while free-lancing on the side, before pausing her career when she had two children in 2021 and 2022.  She joined our team in 2023 after having been a client of Details for a couple of years.

“I love beautiful spaces.  I love studying them, talking about them, sitting in them, creating them.  When I came to Details as a client to beautify my own home, I knew I had found the place in Louisville that sets the bar for not just the talent, but also impeccable service, which if you’ve ever re-done a home, you  know is a hard combination to find.,” says Reynolds.

She continues with, “When I had the opportunity to join the team at Details, it was both an honor and a thrill.  I can’t believe I get to be around beautiful things and beautiful spaces all day, all while learning from the very best!  I’m incredibly proud of where I work.”

And Details is extremely proud to have her!

With her daughters headed away to college, it was an excellent time to start a new adventure.
